Well i meant to do this from the beginning but i forgot. So my plan is to set goals for my self for three months at a time and at the end of those three months I'll sit down and see if i made my goals (or am i close), and set new goals for the next three months. I hope that by my birthday (June 1st for those of you who don't know) I will be within the healthy BMI range for my height and close to my goal weight, which i will reveal at a later date when i have the confidence to post my beginning weight, current weight, and lbs to reach my goal. Well that's all for now feel free to comment with some words of encouragement.
Goals for September through November: Lose 25-30lbs

Day 2 of Fasting.
OK so everything I've read says that days 1-3 are the hardest and that if you can make it past those the temp from food is greatly reduced. Well so far today sucks. I woke up super groggy and tired, but i got some energy about half way through the day and felt more like myself. Today has been super hard resisting food. I find myself walking through the kitchen and i have to stop myself from opening the fridge or running to the pantry out of habit. Today has also been the first day of nothing but water. I must say if i were going to fast for any long period of time i would definitely do a juice fast because nothing but water sucks. But it's only seven days and I've already made it almost a third of the way.

Day 1 of Fasting.
So day one of the fast went well. I drank only juice to wean my self off a little bit so that when i went to just water it wouldn't be as bad. I had my normal amount of energy and food wasn't as tempting as i thought it would be. By the end of the day i was a bit tired and happy to take a bath and head to bed.

Fasting
Alright i know a lot of you are going to be yelling at your computer screen, but i have researched the proper way of going about this and what the warning signs are if you go too far. Also this is only going to happen for one week. I am doing this for two reasons. The first is that fasting helps purge your system of any build up and toxins. The second reason is that i have tried about four times since being here in Arizona (which is about eight weeks) to start a healthy diet plan and i would fall off very easily. So, i am going to fast for a week and when i go back to eating I'm going to be doing my best to start right by eating healthy and making sure that my eating habits have changed before i have even a cheat snack.
Along the way i will be posting how the day has been and how i feel about the fast and any physical symptoms i may be having. As i am writing this i am currently on day two of the fast so i will catch you all up in the next few posts.
